WE DESIGN BUILDINGS AS PART OF THE CITIES THEY SERVE.
How we think about design
Architecture begins long before form. We start by reading the site, climate, culture, and patterns of movement that shape public life. From stadiums and cultural buildings to transportation hubs, every project is developed around its specific place and purpose. Design, engineering, and technology are brought together to create architecture that performs with clarity, responds to its context, and remains meaningful over time.

OVER TWO DECADES OF PUBLIC ARCHITECTURE
Founded by Bahadır Kul in Kayseri in 2003 and based in Istanbul since 2010, BKA has more than two decades of experience in public and large-scale architecture. Working across Türkiye and internationally, the studio brings together architecture, urban design, interiors, and landscape. Every project is developed through close collaboration with clients, engineers, and specialist teams—from the first urban decision to the final detail.
Today, BKA works across Türkiye and internationally, with particular expertise in stadiums, sports complexes, cultural buildings, museums, and transportation hubs. Its portfolio ranges from the stadiums of Konya, Mersin, Sivas, and Batumi to Van Museum, Antalya Aquarium, and the new Ankara Stadium.
Across different programs and scales, the ambition remains consistent: to create architecture that belongs to its city, responds intelligently to local conditions, and continues to serve its community beyond its primary function. Every project is considered part of a larger urban, cultural, and social structure.
FOUNDER ARCHITECT
Bahadır Kul founded BKA in Kayseri in 2003 and established its Istanbul studio in 2010. Over more than two decades, he has led the design of major public projects across Türkiye and internationally, with a particular focus on stadiums, cultural buildings, transportation hubs, and large-scale civic architecture.
His work is shaped by a close reading of place, program, movement, and public life. Bringing architecture and engineering together from the earliest stages, Kul approaches each project as part of the wider urban context it serves.
Under his direction, BKA has completed landmark projects including Kadir Has Stadium, Konya Metropolitan Stadium, Mersin Stadium, Sivas Stadium, Batumi Stadium, Van Museum, Antalya Aquarium, and the new Ankara Stadium.
